This pristine quilt was made in the 30s by Martha Avis Singleton in Sand Fork, West Virginia. She was an avid Quilter and lived to be 107 years old. I have 3 other quilts by the same maker in my collection.
You can tell it was gently loved because of the softness and the drape. some areas of worn fabric. Edge binding is worn. Was all hand stitched together originally
